The Man Gay Man Award!
Okay, it doesn’t really matter what I think. People are going to be amazing whether I give them an award or not. However, I wanted to show my appreciation to those who are truly fabulous by gifting them with this amazing status of being truly a “mad gay man.”
I figured every week I could give out this astounding award to those who show their fierceness, their individuality, their intense fire by being their sexy selves via blogs. And away we go…
Our first winner: Miss Emmie Mears!
Yesterday, I realized this lady is so far the only person (except for Boyfriend) to support me in gigantic ways in my writing. But there’s so much more to Miss Emmie.
For example, she is incredibly intelligent, which can be evidenced in the first and only episode of my podcast (just want to concentrate on writing and other things in my life right now; PS- It will be released soon I promise!). She has a fascinating life and perspective, coming from a life of living in Alaska, Poland, and various other places with her bisexual mother. Plus, she’s a rabid Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and that’s pretty much the only thing she needs to be awesome in my book.
I’ve shamelessly promoted her blog Emmie Mears on here multiple times, and I can pretty much assure you that it won’t stop anytime soon. I cannot get enough of this gal. If I were straight, and she wasn’t already married to a handsome guy, I’d probably hit it.
Congratulations, Emmie. Now, make these bitches jealous!

OMG!
This was so awesome! I had no idea I was that cool! I need some serious sunglasses, stat.
But for serious, this post made my LIFE so nice today. I woke up and saw it and now I’m all fuzzy and ready to face the day. Thank you so much for your kind words and stunning assessment of…me.
I wish I could catapult this post back in time to when I was in junior high with a metal mouth and more acne than any human should be exposed to — that’d show them bitches.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for my award! It’ll go up on my site today!
You are very welcome. I believe you have a great attitude and the world needs more people like you in it.
And through her, I’ve found you. So we’re all happy!
Hi Larz! Yes, I am so appreciative of the friendship I made with Emmie. She’s amazeballs. And you’re amazeballs for being peer-pressured into coming to my blog. YAY FOR PEER PRESSURE! Wait…
